Robert Parker a publié le résultat de ses dégustations des millésimes 2003 et 2013 :
Valandraud 2013 90-92
"Jean-Luc Thunevin and his wife, Murielle Andraud, have created a beautiful new label for Valandraud. The dense ruby/purple-colored 2013 reveals excellent sweet tannin, rich black currant and cherry fruit, hints of licorice and graphite, and a well-made style. This medium-bodied St.-Emilion is a sleeper of the vintage. It should drink well for a decade or more." RP
Valandraud 2003 93
"This wine, conceived in a period when this property was not as well-known as it is today, is strutting its stuff. Proprietors Jean-Luc Thunevin and Murielle Andraud should be pleased. The color is a healthy dense plum/ruby. Aromas of sweet licorice, black currants and tobacco leaf are followed by a full-bodied, opulent wine without a trace of oxidation or fatigue. This beauty is a true success for a 2003 Right Bank offering. Drink it over the next 10-15 years." RP
