Notre Pomerol, le Clos du Beau Père est plutôt gâté côté notes :

91-94 pour Antonio Galloni de Vinous : "The 2016 Le Clos du Beau-Père looks like it will offer considerable pleasure right out of the gate. Succulent black cherry, plum, chocolate, spice and sweet French oak give the wine its racy, voluptuous personality. The 2016 is not an especially subtle nor complex wine, but it scores big in the pleasure department. Lavender, rose petal and sweet spice notes add lift. The 100% new oak is already very nicely integrated."

90-92  pour Neal Martin du Wine Advocate :" The 2016 Le Clos de Beau Pere from Jean-Luc Thunévin, which includes 15% Cabernet Franc, has a nicely defined, blackberry and quite stony bouquet that needed a little encouragement from the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, lively black cherry and boysenberry fruit, quite structured and maybe just missing a little length on the finish. But it might be the most elegant Le Clos de Beau Père that I have tasted to date. It is a strong follow-up to the 2015."

90-92 pour Neal Martin du Wine Advocate : "The 2016 Domaine des Sabines is a blend of 10% Cabernet Franc and 90% Merlot. It has a clean and nicely focused, quite tensile bouquet that delivers plenty of "controlled" black cherry and raspberry aromas that are neatly integrated with the oak. The palate is medium-bodied with quite firm tannin that provide a steely backbone, lending this more masculinity than I have noticed in other vintages, with quite a pleasant salinity and spiciness on the aftertaste. This is an excellent Lalande-de-Pomerol."

90-92 pour Antonio Galloni de Vinous : "The 2016 Domaine des Sabines is supple, open-knit and flat-out delicious. Sweet red cherry, plum and blood orange fruit notes are pushed forward, while ripe, silky tannins give the wine its soft contours. Creamy and ample on the palate, with terrific aromatic lift and overall brightness, the 2016 is absolutely impeccable. I loved it. "
